Gamble Garden

In Palo, Alto, UCCE Master Gardeners are available where they maintain a Hotline at Gamble Garden. The public is invited to call the MG Hotline and ask a certified Master Gardener most urban gardening questions or to consult on numerous gardening problems confronting the home gardener. Insect problems, pest identification, and safe pest control, as well as plant diseases and modern and non-toxic plant disease controls are just some of the issues that are often discussed with the Master Gardeners at Gamble Garden.
The Hotline is open for questions by telephone or walk-in every Friday from 1pm to 4pm.
You can reach the Gamble Garden MG Hotline at 650-329-1356 extension 205

There is also a Plant Clinic at Gamble Garden where the public may drop in and consult directly with a certified Master Gardener on plant problems and bring plant samples for diagnosis. The Plant Clinic is held during Hotline hours every Friday at 1pm to 4pm.
Free MG garden Workshops on various relevant garden topics are presented on the second Saturday of every month. Past topics have included Oak tree landscaping, Seed Starting, Veggie Gardens, Organic Rose Gardens, and many other topics. No reservations needed.
Second Saturday MG garden Workshops are in the main house library, 9am to 11am.
When you visit the Gamble Garden Hotline, Plant Clinic or an MG workshop, leave plenty of time afterwards so that you can stroll through the beautiful gardens at Gamble that are always in bloom!
