Becoming a Master Gardener

Santa Clara County's Master Gardeners are required to take 60 hours of training, plus advanced training classes, and commit to volunteer 100 hours in the first year. There are always more applicants than those that are accepted to the Santa Clara County Master Gardener program.

To receive Master Gardener information in your area please contact your local university Cooperative Extension office. If you live in Santa Clara County, CA please call 408-282-3105 between 9:30am and 12:30pm; Monday thru Friday.
