Hypericum reptans, or ground cover St. Johnswort, is a cute ground cover for dry sunny and partially shady areas. The cheerful yellow flowers that appear in the summer really pop.
This ground cover form looks and behaves differently from other species of St. Johnswort. It has very small leaves and flowers, grows close to the ground and spreads slowly.
We shear the spent flowers off when the plant is done blooming. It is easy to start new plants by putting cuttings directly in the soil when the weather has cooled.
