Master Gardener Judith Cody’s horticultural photography workshop will cover the strictly non-technical methods to take pictures of flowers, roses, and vegetables. Emphasis will be on close-ups of blooms shot in the garden under natural or available light. Basic principles of photo composition, use of landscape color, and understanding natural lighting conditions will be discussed. Other topics are, best time of day to shoot, lighting differences among garden subjects, framing, good and bad shadows, and should insects be in the picture?
