These RWANDA BASKETS are made by women farmers in the rural areas. As subsistence farmers they have to find a way to make money to pay school fees and buy books and uniforms for their children. As they wait for their crops to grow, they sit and make these beautiful baskets from sweet grass and sisal that they grow and process or buy. They also have to find the dyes from natural plants in most cases. It is Faith and Barbara's project to help to find markets for their great works of art and the people they work with help them to send 100% of the profits back to these dear women.LOVE'S WORK WOMEN CARDS are also made by women from Rwanda, widows creating art with banana leaves.
